Capture the Magic

of Your First Moments Together

There’s nothing quite like the first 48 hours after your baby’s arrival—the tiny yawns, the first cuddles, those first bonding moments. A Fresh 48 session preserves those early hours when life has just shifted and everything feels new. Unlike traditional newborn sessions, this experience is more relaxed, unposed, and authentically you, photographed right where it all began—in the hospital room or birth space.

With my experience capturing these tender first moments, I aim to make each session seamless, unobtrusive, and deeply personal. This session is for parents who want to remember the little details of this early stage they may otherwise forget: the way baby’s hand wraps around your finger, the hospital bassinet, or siblings meeting for the first time. Let me worry about the picture taking while you recover and enjoy your baby. Book a Fresh 48 session to remember these precious, irreplaceable moments and treasure them forever.

Hi, I’m Erica, a lifestyle photographer based in Winnipeg.

Hi, I’m Erica, a Winnipeg newborn photographer, wife, and mom to two amazing boys.

I’ve always been drawn to the little, in-between moments. The ones that feel small but mean everything. That’s what led me to specialize in Fresh 48 photography and relaxed, connection focused family sessions. My sessions are simple and laid-back. No stiff posing, with a come as you are mentality and no pressure on your kids. If you’re looking for a family photographer who keeps things easy and real, I’d love to connect!

My Clients

Are down to earth people who love to laugh and don't take things too seriously. They want to remember all the moments even when not ideal. They want me to help them capture those wonky smiles or furrowed brows on their children because they know these stages won't last. But most of all my clients just want to have a good time and know I won't judge them for bribing children with treats.
